We are Jason & Kellony Kristof! We have been married since 2017 and are deeply committed and in love. We met late in life, and both desire several children. We often wonder what it would’ve been like if we had met younger... how many kids would we have today. But that wasn’t God’s plan for our lives. We had many trials to overcome apart so we could be right for each other now.
We are far from perfect. We are two imperfect people, whom by the Grace of God, have been forgiven. We keep Christ in the center of our relationship, and believe that He has called us to use our story to help others. We started a relationship ministry blog in May of this year to help other people through our story.
We are not your typical Christian relationship couple. You see, we both had a very broken road that led to our final destination: each other! We've both been married before, and we are a blended family. We've both had highs and lows in life, tainted pasts, substance issues, bad decisions, and we both required true forgiveness, compassion, and non judgement for our shortcomings. We've had obstacles to overcome, mountains and valleys... in other words, we are just like you! We are human. We make mistakes. But we know God's hand remains on us, and His blessings out pour on our life. We love to travel and try to as much as possible!
Jason is a big goofball! He is super tall (6’7”) and a giant softy. He isn’t afraid to show his sensitive side, and has a personality everyone loves to be around! He is 46.
Jason has a degree in business management from Western KY University. He works in medical device sales now, and is in/out of operating rooms daily! He loves his career of helping patients get the treatments they need to heal and have long lives.
Jason is a Godly leader in our family. He prays with and over our family multiple times a day, and is such a positive example to our boys.
Jason loves our oldest son as his very own even though he’s only been in his life since the age of 10. To show a forever commitment to the 14 year old, Jason tattooed the child’s birthdate on his ribs! He has such a love for children.
Kellony is 42 years old. She is sweet and kind, and has a big heart to help others. She has a degree in Social Work, and worked in foster care her first year as a social worker. It was at that time, she knew that when she was financially stable and grounded, she’d like to foster and adopt children of her own.
In 2008, Kellony decided to change her career. She is now a licensed massage therapist and owns 3 spas, as well as a massage school. After the baby was born, Kellony became a mostly work from home mother, enabling her to nurse the baby the first year and homeschool the oldest child (who will be entering into the 9th grade this upcoming year .) Life is busy, and can sometimes be hectic- but nonetheless, her life passion is for her children! Kellony is also strong in faith and prays daily. She knows if it wasn’t for God’s Grace, she would have nothing.
We have a 15 year old son named Everett. He is a very sweet young man, kind and compassionate, and loves music and video games! He plays piano and is in the marching band at school. He was pulled home in January of this 2020 to be homeschooled due to some bully issues at school and it was an awesome decision! Everett is a happy child and an incredible big brother! He looks forward to more siblings!
The baby is a little bundle of blessing! He was born in August 2019. We weren’t sure if at our age if we could even have children. Jason had had a vasectomy and it had to be reversed. It was a success and shortly after we had little Xander. Xander is very advanced. He started walking at 8.5 months! He’s a very happy baby, and we pray for siblings near his age so they can grow up together. You know the old wives tale... when babies grow up fast, they’re getting out of the way for the next one! That is our prayer.
Jason grew up in New Orleans until the age of 15, then moved to Franklin, TN, which is near Nashville. He has a big family that is full of love! He has one sibling,( a sister), and his Mom & Dad love being grandparents to their 6 grandchildren! Jason’s sister & his mother lives in Bowling Green, KY, and we love making trips to visit all of them! It is only a 3 hour drive there! When we get together, we have huge meals, and tons of laughter. The holidays are such a fun time too! His sister always has a fancy candle lit meal, and there’s a house full of people! We create memories to treasure every time we are together!
Kellony’s Dad was in the military so she was able to live in several places growing up. Being the baby of 4 siblings (2 sisters and 1 brother), she was showered with love. Her parents moved to middle TN when she was 12, so that’s where “home” is. After high school, Kellony went to the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL and never left. The Shoals area became home. Kellony’s parents love get together with their kids and 9 grand children. They can’t wait to have more grandkids to love!
Kellony’s Dad raised the other 3 kids, and 2 years ago decided to make it “official” by adopting them! It was such a special time in our family. Everyone deserves to be a part of a whole family, and having it official was so special.
Our prayer is that your family will become a part of our extended family if you feel comfortable with that.
